case study
the perfect purée of
napa valley
Objective - packagingarts was asked to develop an identity and visual language for The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley brand, creating a system for both packaging and sales collateral.
Solution - The design needed to be flexible to allow for varied product information (over 40 flavors) and work for both purées and concentrates. The challenge was to organize the information in such a way as to keep the label clean and uncluttered. The client wanted the new labels to be more consumer oriented as part of a future plan to move the product into a retail environment. The fruit had to tell the story, to be immediate and look fresh, mouth watering and give an accurate impression of the flavor. Color was used to support this goal, reinforcing both the flavor and character of each fruit.
As a result of the new packaging The Perfect Purée of Napa Valley has elevated the brand with a fresh new look that differentiates the product in the market.
